Why custom instead of Wix, Squarespace, or an Elementor theme?
Page-builder sites carry 200KB+ of unused CSS and JavaScript. They’re slow, hard to maintain, and lock you into a vendor. Our custom block themes load in under 1 second, are infinitely flexible, and you own everything we build — no monthly fees, no lock-in. Same upfront cost, dramatically better long-term outcome.
What’s included in the starter package?
A 5-page custom WordPress site, both English and French, brand discovery session, custom visual identity, mobile-first responsive design, SEO foundation (schema, sitemap, hreflang), 60-minute WordPress training for your team, and 30 days post-launch support. Hosting and domain are separate (we recommend Kinsta or Cloudways — happy to set them up).
Can you use our existing brand colors and logo?
Absolutely. The brand discovery phase confirms what stays and what evolves. If your brand is solid, we work with it. If it needs polish, we offer a brand refresh as an add-on. Either way, your visual identity drives the design — we don’t impose template aesthetics.
What happens after launch? Are we on our own?
No. We include 30 days of post-launch support with every build — content tweaks, bug fixes, training questions, anything. After that, our Maintenance plans are available if you want ongoing care. Or you take it from there and we’re still one email away.
Do you handle hosting?
We recommend hosting (Kinsta for performance, Cloudways for value) but you own the account and the bill. We can help you set it up and deploy the site, but the hosting relationship stays with you. No middleman markup, no hostage situation.
How do you handle bilingual content (EN + FR)?
WPML for the technical setup, hreflang for the SEO side, and Quebec French (not Parisian) for the writing. Translation is done natively, not via Google Translate. If you write your own content, we provide the bilingual structure; if you want us to translate, that’s an add-on at fair-market translation rates.
Do you really ship in 14 days?
Yes — once you’ve approved the design phase. If we miss the 14-day mark due to anything on our end, we discount the build. The clock starts when designs are approved (around day 5) and runs through launch (day 14). The reason we can promise this: locked scope, dedicated team, and no outsourcing.
